The Yozanshi are steel threads used by Maclalpine Toni Strauss.
Overview[]
Yozashi are ultra thin steel threads that can be extended for kilometers, and can cut through solid rock.[1] The threads are almost impossible to see, and can be used to lay traps, and wards, against enemies.[2]
Maclalpine keeps them in a pouch on his belt, and in the belt itself. They travel up his clothes into his gloves, and then to the palms of his hands, and his fingertips.[3]
History[]
Maclalpine first uses the Yozanshi against some rebels led by the Samurai Jorg Fishes in the region of Danis. After slaughtering the rebels, and cutting off all of Jorg's limbs with the threads, he uses them to track Jorg as he crawls back to the Samurai Residence. He then uses the threads to inflict heavy casualties among the Samurai when attacking their base.[4]
After Dark Schneider is resurrected, he attempts to attack the sorcerer with the threads, only for D.S. to block them with his Shield. He then uses the threads to attempt to abduct Vai Staebe's mother, to use her as a human shield, only for D.S. to rescue her, and defeat Maclalpine.[5]
