Description[]
Salamanders are a type of superior fire spirit. They normally reside in the Elemental Realm of Fire, but can be summoned to Earth by the use of spells like Tafolla.[1]
Out of all the different kinds of fire spirits, from low level Fire Fairies to Efreet, the Demon God of Flame, Salamanders are just a step down from Efreet. Constantly surrounded by intense flame, they fire heat rays from their mouth, and use spears made of heat-resistant metal as weapons.[1][2]
Due to their nature as fire spirits, Salamanders are weak to water, cold, and ice based magics, and can only stay in cold places for short periods of time.[1]
History[]
Salamanders are first seen during Dark Schneider's second fight against Arshes Nei at Metallicana Castle, having been summoned by Dark Schneider's Tafolla spell to counter Nei's summoning of lightning elements.[2]
In a scene exclusive to the 2022 anime, Salamanders are again summoned by Dark Schneider to fight Abigail's summoned Skeletons during thier battle at Metallicana Castle.[3]
