Principatus, or Principalities, are the 7th of 9 ranks of Angels.
Overview[]
Principatus are the highest ranked Angels in the third sphere, and lead the lower classes of Angels including the Archangels, and regular Angels. The duty of these Angels include "Guarding the Kingdom of God", controlling the destiny of nations, being the guardians of civilization, as well as being the defenders of faith.[1][2]
There are fewer of this kind of Angel compared to Archangels and regular Angels.[1]
Appearance[]
These angels have a human like appearance, and are covered in massive armor. Instead of regular wings they have large lumps on their backs that, once unfurled, become large tentacles. Compared to Archangels and regular Angels they are far larger.[1]
History[]
Several Principatus materialize in the reactor room of King Crimson Glory to defeat the Sorcerer Shoguns, Tia, and Lars, who had assembled there. The group manages to fight them, slaying several of the Principatus in the process.
Powers and Abilities[]
They have high attack power, and posses incredibly strong defenses that render most magic ineffective against them. Their large size limits their agility.[1]
