Thunder Empress Arshes Nei is the fifth episode in the Bastard!! anime series.
Summary[]
Nei heads to fight Dark Schneider. She uses Megadeth, but Dark Schneider manage to avoid with. Nei sees that he is with some women and states that nothing has changed. She looks at her hail and recalls how Abigail puts Accused on her. If her heart turns towards Dark Schneider, she will turn into a frog. Nei states that even though he is back, he still causes her grief and swears to kill him.
Sheila doesn't want to let Dark Schneider go and fight as he may die. Dark Schneider asks Yoko for 500 yen and states he will return it later and heads to fight Nei. As Nei is flying on her griffin, Dark Schneider uses Raven to fly. Nei however uses a High Ancient spell that Dark Schneider doesn't know, Def Leppard, creating a lightning ball that sucks all the magical energy, rendering Dark Schneider's magic useless and stopping Raven, making him fall on the ground. Nei prepares to finish Dark Schneider, but Efreet comes to protect him. He explains that its his duty to protect his master and since Nei is using Raijin-Ken, he will turn to Fire Sword so that he can fight her. Nei is surprised that he tamed Efreet, but doesn't think he has a chance against Nue, who lives inside Raijin-Ken. The two clash swords. Efreet then states that while Dark Schneider may not realize it, he is needed by the world. Efreet then grabs Nue and heads into Def Leppard, sending him and Nue to another dimension and breaking Raijin-Ken.
Nei then attacks Dark Schneider with her hands, piercing him. As she believes she won, Dark Schneider stands up and angry states that she is no longer his daughter. Nei laughs and states that she never considered him her father. The two then use Raven to fly then cast Exodus. As the two spells clash, Dark Schneider recalls the younger Nei and she ends up overpowering him. Nei realizes that his heart wavered and wonders if he is truly Dark Schneider she knew. Yoko doesn't believe that this defeated Dark Schneider, since she had taught Lucien to repay his debt and he still haven't returned those 500 yen. Dark Schneider stands up and starts explaining how handsome he is, however he falls on his knees. Nei states that he has no power left and all that is left is she to kill him in order to create their ideal world. Dark Schneider states she can't kill him and tells her that he loves her. Nei stops for a moment, but then proceeds to attack him. Dark Schneider asks her about what ideal world is she talking about. Nei then explains they intends to create an utopia, but Dark Schneider doesn't believe that is possible, since its in human's nature to fight and hate. Nei explains that as a half elf, she was never accepted by humans or elves. After the war started, the dark elves threw her away. The memories of grief and hunger she had taught her that children need a safe place to live, which is why she wants to create an ideal world. She attacks Dark Schneider but he stops her and tells her to remember the time they spend and if he didn't provide a safe place for her. He attempts to kiss her, but as Accused starts activating, Nei pushes him back.
Abigail and Kall-Su observe the fight. Abigail starts laughing stating that Nei's nail turned purple. He knew that she can't remove Dark Schneider from her heart and if it turns crimson she will turn to a frog. Kall-Su then leaves, stating that if she dies, then one of them will have to eventually defeat Dark Schneider.
Nei notes that every time they had a fight with Dark Schneider, he was saying that she isn't his daughter and they always stopped fighting when he says that he loves her. As she prepares to kill him, she notes that he was the most important person in her life and the only thing she had. Yoko doesn't feel evil intentions coming from Nei, but feels a crying child. One of Nei's attacks then hit near Yoko and Sheila, causing some rubble to fall and almost kill them. Seeing that Dark Schneider got worried, Nei tells him that they should finish the fight with their next attacks and if he doesn't kill her, she will kill Yoko. Dark Schneider then states that he won't allow anyone to hurt Yoko, even if its Nei. The two then start preparing their most powerful attacks. Baba and Geo come out as Baba states that the vision she had is about to happen.
Dark Schneider and Nei then uses Helloween. As the spells clash, Nei hopes that he kills her before Accused takes effect and turn her into a frog. Lucien then speaks to Dark Schneider, telling him to open his eyes and look at his daughter. He asks him if he doesn't see that her love has trapped her in a grief deeper than death. Dark Schneider then sees Nei's bleeding finger and realizes its Accused. Lucien states that she chose to die at his hands than to Accused. Dark Schneider realizes that Abigail has put it and gets angry.
After the spells clash and explode. Dark Schneider stands in front of Nei. He asks her if she is in pain and states that he will free her. He then rips his heart and spills blood on her fingernail, breaking Accused.
