The Nue is a beast chimera residing in the Raijin-Ken.
Overview[]
Nue is a mythical beast that possesses the power of lightning. It is a type of synthetic beast that has the head of a monkey, the body of a racoon dog, the limbs and cry of a tiger, and the tail of a snake. This combination of physical traits makes it a rare species to encounter, to the point it is considered an endangered chimera species.[1][2]
The Nue is highly intelligent, and can use magic to levitate, and call forth storms and lightning. Its mournful yet terrifying cry is called Tiger Thrush. It is obedient to whoever it recognizes as its master, and can transform into the Raijin-Ken sword to give their master power.[1][2]
History[]
The Nue first appears during Arshes Nei's second battle against Dark Schneider at Metallicana. Nei taunts Dark Schneider with the existence of Nue in her sword, after Efreet shows up to aid Dark Schenider by giving him the Fire Sword. Nue battles Efreet, with both of them getting tossed into the orb created by Nei's Def Leppard spell by Efreet so the orb would be destroyed, and D.S.'s magic returned to him.[2]
Nue laters return during the fight with Lich. After being pulled into the vortex created by the Satan's Ring, Dark Schneider and Nei find Efreet and Nui in the other dimensional space, and use their powers to survive. When Lich reopens the portal in an attempt to kill Gara, Dark Schneider and Nei escape using the elemental's help. Nue bites the Lich, and holds him in place, while Dark Schneider uses the Fire Sword to kill Lich once and for all.[3]
Arshes Nei later calls Nue to her side, so she could use the Raijin-Ken during her battle with Abigail at Metallicana Castle.[4]
