Megadeth (天地爆烈 (メガデス) , Megadesu) is a wind and earth spirit magic.

Overview

This spell draws its power from the opposing forces of earth and wind spirits. By combining the power of thunderstorms and earthquakes, the destructive power of this spell reaches one hundred times that of the Damned spell, and can blow up a small fortress, or half of an entire castle. This spell is so powerful its dangerous to even the person casting it.

Incantation

"Dei-vu Mu-Staiine! Spirits of the Earth and Sky! In accordance with the pact of ancient times, fulfill your duties! Megadeath!"

History

Fifty years before the start of the series, Dark Schneider test this spell out in Lich's dungeon, angering the undead and causing him to destroy the Kingdom of De Purple.

Dark Schneider uses this spell to destroy Gara's Ninja Fortress at the end of their battle.

Arshes Nei uses the Megadeath spell to destroy part of Castle Metallicana, during her second attack on the Kingdom.

Trivia

• Named after American Thrash Metal band Megadeth.
• The line "Dei-vu Mu-Staiine!" is a reference to Dave Mustaine, co-founder of Megadeth.
