Hydras (ヒドラ, Hidora) are large serpent monsters.
Overview[]
Hydras are a species of large, carnivorous, reptiles with anywhere from five to twelve heads. With the number of heads indicating how powerful it is.[1][2]
They are native to swamps and marshes, and posses powerful offensive abilities, but are not very intelligent, leading them to sometimes be manipulated by wizards.[1][2] A hydra wouldn't normally approach a city on their own, unless controlled by a powerful sorcerer.[1]
Hydras are theorized to be a distant descendant of Dragons, with some Hydras, known as Pyro-Hydras, being able to breathe fire like dragons.[1][2]
History[]
Hydra's Fire Attack
Kevidubu's Hydra is first seen roaming through the forest, heading towards Metallicana. As the Hydra enters the town it uses it's fire breath against number of knights who are trying to stop it, destroying everything in it's path.[1]
After sensing Dark Schneider's resurrection, Kevidubu and the Hydra being heading toward the castle to investigate the powerful aura.[3]
As Kevidubu enters the royal castle with the Hydra, the Hydra then begins to battle Dark Schneider's Golem. While Dark Schneider kills Kevidubu, the Golem begins to crush, and tear off, the Hydra's heads, killing it.[4]
