Giant Bats are a sub-species of giants.
Overview[]
Giant Bats are massive bats that can reach the size of an eagle. These bats are have sharp claws, and fangs, and are carnivorous, attacking large animals, livestock, and even people.[1]
Vampires that have been exposed to sunlight can emerge from the ashes of their bodies as giant bats. Vampires that have this happen to them must return to their coffins for two days, and consume spirits, to regenerate.[1][2]
History[]
After being turned to dust, due to being exposed to sunlight during his fight with Dark Schneider, the vampire Di-Amon emerges as a giant bat to try to escape from the wizard. Dark Schneider is able to capture the vampire, and curse him with the Accused spell, ensuring his future cooperation.[2]
Di-Amon once again takes the form of a giant bat, when infiltrating Kall-Su's castle in the city of Tiptoe, in an attempt to kill the wizard in the name of Dark Schneider.[3]
