Rampage is the second episode in the Bastard!! Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy anime series.
Synopsis[]
Osborn, the sorcerer from the Dark Rebel Armies, succumbs to the now-resurrected Dark Schneider and his spell Venom. Sensing that the legendary wizard has returned, the Four Divine Kings send Kevidubu for another attack on the Kingdom of Meta-llicana, but at the kingdom, the arrogant and rebellious Dark Schneider does anything but listen to the priests.

Arshes Nei heard the Osborn has been defeated, but Gara doubts it, since he lived for over two centuries and is practically a demon. Abigail tells Gara that he is wrong and Osborn was destroyed by Venom. Gara can't believe it, as only one person in the world can use Venom and he disappeared fifteen years ago. Kall-Su states they need to verify the identity of the man who used Venom. Abigail suggest they should send Kevidubu, the hydra summoner. Gara agrees and if Kevidubu do lose, that would mean the other wizard is indeed strong. If he ends up being Schneider, Kall-Su states they will send the whole army and crush the Kingdom of Metallicana.
Yoko dreams of being in a flower field with Dark Schneider, however, her dream quickly turns into a nightmare as Schneider shows the body of her father and she gets surrounded by monsters. Yoko wakes up and sees Lucien had come to sleep in her bed and tries to wake him up as he needs to be in his own bed. In the morning, she prepares breakfast for Lucien. She hears some thunders and goes out to see dark clouds are heading towards the castle. Her father, Geo Noto Soto calls them. He feels this is a bad omen and if things turn to bad, they may need to break Schneider's seal again.
Hydra attacking the city
A man from Kingdom of Judas brings news of their fallen kingdom by the Dark Rebel Army. He tells the king of Metallicana that enemy units are heading towards their kingdom and are led by an evil wizard. Geo arrives and confirms that the approaching cloud isn't natural. The king sees Yoko and recognize her as the one that stepped in and helped the kingdom while he was gone. Sheila also thanks them, but Yoko tells her that Lucien doesn't remember anything, so there is no need to thank him. Seeing all the bad omens, increased demi-human and monster appearing, defeat of the neighboring kingdoms, Geo fears its a sign of that the resurrection of the demon god, Anthrasax.
Yoko breaks Schneider's seal
Kevidubu reaches the kingdom and attacks it with Hydra, wondering how powerful is the wizard who killed Osborn. Geo learns of the Hydra attack in the city, but knows that a Hydra won't attack a human settlement on its own and it must be under the influence of an powerful sorcerer. The men start panicking, wanting Dark Schneider to destroy the monster. Geo also states there is no other choice. Yoko initially didn't want to, but hearing the Hydra outside, she agrees. She asks Lucien to close his eyes and as he does, she kisses him, breaking the seal and turning him into Dark Schneider. The ministers tells Schneider to defeat the monster, but he refuses. They state they will give him anything he wants and Schneider states he wants everyone in the world to bow to him and Geo's head. Annoyed, the ministers send the soldiers after Schneider, but he creates a wall of flame. Schneider then turns to Geo, stating that he will be getting his revenge. Geo is surprised by Schneider's evil aura, which even Kevidubu and the Hydra feel. However, before he attacks Geo, Yoko scolds him and stops him. Schneider explains that he already paid his debt and isn't afraid of her, but continues to tremble when she raises her hand. He ends up overcoming it and states he can't let Geo live. Schneider proceeds and casts Balvolt, but Geo uses defensive magic Stryper, an anti-magic shield that negates Balvolt. Geo states no magic will work on him and Schneider notes that he also won't be able to use magic, which would mean they should switch to hand-to-hand combat, but then recalls that Geo is a highly skilled warrior monk, level 120 in the art of Holy Steel Fist.
Dark Schneider summons the Golem
Geo tells him to just give up, but Schneider spills some of his blood, recalling that he heard there is a golem hidden deep underground under the castle. Geo is surprised he knows, but Schneider explains its because its the same golem he used 15 years ago. Schneider then casts his spell and awakens the golem. Schneider wonders if Geo's barrier can stop the golem's kick, which weights a million tons. Schneider then sends the golem towards Geo. Yoko is so afraid that she can't move. She can't believe Schneider is Lucien as he enjoys killing people, while Lucien is so kind. She wishes someone to stop Schneider and bring back Lucien. The wall then gets destroyed and Kevidubu enters with the Hydra. Kevidubu introduces himself as the disciple of Kall-Su and that he will be a future ruler. Schneider is angry as Kevidubu's entrance caused some debris to fly and hit his head and cause a bleeding. He starts insulting Kevidubu and tells him to come down so that he can beat him. Offended, Kevidubu sends the Hydra against the Golem, however, the Golem easily overpowers the Hydra and starts ripping its heads. Seeing that, Kevidubu is angry and jumps down, but gets punched by Schneider and send flying. Schneider then uses Venom and obliterates Kevidubu.
Golem and Hydra clash
Schneider turns towards Geo and sends the Golem. As the Golem reaches him, Yoko runs to Schneider and asks him to stop. As Schneider isn't anything like the kind Lucien, she asks him to give her back Lucien. Schneider explains he and Lucien are the same and are the two sides of a soul. If one of them dies, so would the other. Whoever Lucien loves, Schneider loves too. He sees she doesn't believe him and kisses her. That causes the golem to be deactivated and Schneider to turn to Lucien.
