Background[]
Elves are one of the many races of humanoids created by the Ten Wise Men of Europa after the destruction of the Old World. They are among the most beautiful, have superhuman levels of magical power, and appear practically immortal, as no elves have passed away from old age. This does not necessarily mean they 'are' immortal, but may merely have a lifespan so long that no elves have as of yet reached the end of it since their creation.
Characteristics[]
Elves have pointy ears and long slit eyes. They posses their own advanced civilization, and have a penchant for mischief. They are a gentle species that rarely antagonizes humans. Elves are classified into normal Forest Elves, Half Elves who are hybrids with other races, High Elves that posses advanced powers, and Dark Elves who have meddled with dark magic.[1] While Half-Elves between different kinds of elves are common, half-elf, hallf-human, hybrids are rare.[2]
Half elves are known to posses great eyesight.[3]
Dark Elves[]
Over a century ago, a group of elves became outcast, and turned to dark magics. Because of this, their skin became stained because of their dark arts, and they became known as Dark Elves. While both types of elves may interbreed with humans, the children of dark elves and humans tend to be of much greater magical ability than those half-elves born to normal elves, and are the most rare. Dark Elves are constantly at war with the regular elves.[4][2]
Dark Elves have a lifespan of around 1,200 years. While Half Elves have a reduced lifespan of around 400 years.[4][2] Some believe Dark Elves are descended from Demons.[5]
