Ed Zepelion

Ed Zepelion (暴凶餓飢地獄 (エッド・ツェペリオン) , Eddo Zeperion) is a forbidden spell in High Ancient Magic that summons starving Gaki Spirits from Hell.^[1]

Overview[]

This spell creates a closed barrier of darkness, up to 50 meters wide, that directly connects to Hell, and summons hungry demons and ghosts. The souls of hungry demons and ghosts devour any being within the barrier, making it almost impossible for even magic-resistant creatures and the undead to survive within the barrier. However the spirits cannot harm inorganic beams like Golems. When there is no more "food" in the barrier, the souls of the hungry ghosts will disappear with the barrier.^[1]^[2]

This spell is forbidden, and has been erased from magical books to limit the growth of powerful magicians.^[1]^[2]

Incantation[]

"Ego ego azaragorai... Ego ego zameragon... Prince of darkness, evil beast, open wide, prepare to feast! Flesh and bone, devour it all... Make this world your dining hall! Cock, bones, and all! Devour it all! Ed Zepelion!"

History[]

Dark Schneider attempts to use this spell to kill the Composite Demon King Omega Abigail The First during their fight at Castle Metallicana. However, the Demon Kings inorganic nature made the spell unable to consume him.^[3]

Trivia[]

Spell is named after the rock band Led Zeppelin.
