Bonfire (爆炸剣 (ヴォン・ファイオ) , Von Faio) is enchantment magic.

Overview[]

A spell that imbues a sword in the wielder's hand with the power of a fire spirit. The wizard can release the power of the spirit that has been imbued by wielding the sword as a ball of fire. Although only one fireball is released per spell, it can be released at any time, making it easy to use.^[1]

Incantation[]

"Ready for Reaction! Power of Flame, dwell in this blade! Bonfire!"

History[]

Vai Staebe, and Kai Harn, attempt to use this spell during the Sorcerer Shoguns attack on the Samurai Residence to kill one of the Shoguns' Sphinx. However, the Sphinx's Shield blocks their attack.^[2]

Trivia[]

Spell is likely a reference to the hard rock/heavy metal band Bonfire.
