The Negative Armor Black Renegade is a suit of armor worn by Zion Sol Vanderverg.
Overview[]
The Black Renegade is a jet black suit of armor with a black cloak attached. The armor is made of black carbon with "negative power", which makes it nearly impossible to damage with the "positive forces" of the material world.[1]
History[]
Zion is first seen wearing the Black Renegade during a meeting of the Sorcerer Shoguns, and their leader Kall-Su,[2] wears the armor in nearly all subsequent appearances.
The first time the armor is used is when Anthrasax uses its cells implanted in Kall-Su to form a giant monster around Kall's body. As part of a combined attack by the Divine Kings, Sorcerer Shoguns, and Samurai, against the monster, Zion uses the Black Renegade to deflect several attacks before getting overwhelming by the creature's power.[3]
