Bastard!! (BASTARD!! 暗黒の破壊神, Bastard!! Ankoku no Hakaishin, literally "Bastard!! Destroyer of Darkness") is an 1992 OVA series by Anime International Company, being directed by Katsuhito Akiyama. Originally intended to be eight episodes, it was released as a six-episode OAV, the final two episodes never making it through production, subsequently leaving the series unfinished. In 1995, the an English version of the OAV was released by Pioneer for North America.
The OVAs combine the prologue and first chapter and skip chapters chapters 16-21 and 28-33. The 6th OVA concludes around page 7 of chapter 45 in volume 6.
Synopsis[]
The anime is based off of the manga, following the adventures of Dark Schneider, a 400-year-old wizard who was sealed away for fifteen years following his defeat at the hands of Lars Ul Metallicana.
