Accused (青爪邪核呪詛 (アキューズド) , Akyūzudo) is a black magic spell that curses the target.

Overview

A powerful coercion spell. It is completed by using the wings of a bat as a catalyst to place a curse into the nails of the magician, which are then transferred to the opponent. From that point on, the victim must follow an order given with the spell forever (or until the curse of Accused has been lifted) or the nail will turn different colors. It changes colors as the victim disobeys the aforementioned command. The first time, it changes to purple, then to red, then melts into slag and blood, then the victim suffers the ultimate wrath and their body is completely destroyed and reconstituted into a toad. Once this happens, it is impossible for them to be restored it by any means. The only way to break Accused is to fulfill the conditions set by the spell caster, or suicide.

This spell is one of the few that works on vampires, due to using part of their bodies as a catalyst, and was one of Dark Schneider's favorite spells to use on his defeated enemies.

"Dread king of splatter rock come forth on the wings of a bat! Reside in my touch and bind this pact! Accused!"

History

Dark Schneider uses this spell on the vampire Di-Amon after defeating him, because he found the vampire too interesting to kill, and to ensure his future loyalty.

Abigail uses the spell on Arshes Nei to ensure she wont betray the Divine Kings, and join Dark Schneider's side, when she goes to the Kingdom of Metallicana to fight him.

Trivia

• The spell derives its name from the American crossover thrash band The Accüsed.
• Splatter Rock is the name of an album by the above band.
