Bastard!! Wiki

The Kingdom of A-lan-Maide (ア=イアン=メイデ, A-ian-maide) was one of the four major kingdoms on the Metalion continent.

Overview[]

Like the other major kingdoms of Metalion, A-lan-Maide's nobility could trace its lineage back to the Kingdom of De Purple.[1] It was also one of the kingdoms protecting the four seals of the Dark Goddess Anthrasax.

A-lan-Maide was the home of the Samurai, who led the resistance against Kall-Su after the four kingdoms fell.[2]

History[]

Nineteen years before the start of the series, the Kingdom of A-lan-Maide came under attack by Dark Schneider, and his Dark Rebel Army, in an event that became known as the Golem Wars. The Golem Wars lasted for four years, and ended with the defeat of Dark Schneider at the hands of Prince Lars Ul Metallicana.

Fifteen years later, when the Dark Rebel Army returned, and began their attack on the four kingdoms so they could destroy their seals, and resurrect the dark god Anthrasax, it was Abigail's division of the Army that led the attack on A-lan-Maide. Abigail's army of skeletons and zombies destroyed the kingdom, killed its king, and converted most of the population into more undead for Abigail's army.[3]

Even after the fall of the kingdom, the Samurai continued to lead resistance forces against Kall-Su, and the Dark Rebel Army. They did so for two years, before the events at King Crimson Glory led to the collapse of civilization.
